Fourth of July at our house. Hot HOT HOT. The sun was so bright that I had to pull out my goggles.
Allred was in a particularly bad mood. (Surprise)
Most of us just stayed inside and slept through the day.
All the swamp coolers were running at high.

Sweety took over possession of the bed
Ty stretched out on the floor too.
Willa could be found snoozing in about seven different places.

Tuesday I got two special packages that we waited until today to open.
We were so excited when we opened the first one which was a book from the wonderful Lydia of See Beautiful Oh what a beautiful little book about two young girls, one with cancer, the other with a huge heart.
And our next package was from my buddy Snoopy who had a contest a few weeks ago that we won a prize for. Yep, me and My Vickie won a prize. We were so excited. They sent us this really cool T-Shirt and even though I don't get to wear it, I get to see how happy it makes My Vickie feel when she wears it.
After all that excitement, we all went back to sleep as we wait for the sun to go down and things to cool off. WE hope you all had a great 4th of July. Now My Vickie explained to me that not all of you will be celebrating this day as a unique day, unless you live in America. To the rest of you, it is just a regular day. But we hope you all have a great day too.
