Special Guests, Birthday Songs, Beheadings and CAKE

 Meet My New Friend Sirus.
He is staying with us until he heads
to California to his new home.
 Somebody abandoned this incredibly handsome
boy, just because he had a deformed leg.
Lucky for him there are those humans out there
that don't care if us dogs have deformed legs
or scraggly coats, or any other thing
that doesn't make us perfect.
He leaves us on Saturday and someone
someone out there in California
is going to get the greatest companion
they could ever ask for.
good luck Sirus

 Today is Goose's Birthday
You can't tell by the look on his face
that he is Way Excited about that.
We all got together and sang
"Happy Birthday"
Before we celebrated with cake thought
we had to bury Willas little friend Teddy
who showed up this morning without his head.
Someone, something, chewed off his head during
the night.  Can you imagine that.
Poor Willa is very distressed.  Thank goodness
She still has her little grey elephant.

 James Dean, O'Mally and Bessie
brought us a Valentines Day cake
and card and tasties.  We kinda used it
as a birthday cake too.
It was a very good day.
And I am already asleep,
fast asleep, dreaming about

So happy for Mr. Sirus--peeps needs to look beyond the physical stuff...there's so much more to a dog. Glad he's getting a family that will LOVE him forever.
Maybe Dr. Carolyn could have helped the bear, you know she is a pretty good surgeon!!
Goose looks pooped, must have been a great birthday and dance.

BERT!!! Thanks for kicking off my birthday in such a grand fashion. I love ya dude. And the singing, the singing, we should seriously take our group on tour. Sirus is such a handsome guy. And he is sweet, and fun and just oh so lovable. My MOM said his fur is real soft. If only some humans could see past what the world tells them is beautiful they would see there is beauty right in front of them. All ya have to do is just look at Sirus and see it is right there. But lucky there are some that do and I know he is going to love love his new home and family. I am glad I got to meet and play with him. As for the missing head. hummm I wonder what could have happened. I blame the squirrels. If you find the head I know Dr. Carolyn can fix him right up. Thanks again buddy for the great day. For all the great days we have together.

We're so glad Sirus has a great home to go to! Our Tama-Chan has deformities on both her front paws and that is why she came to live with us.

You all looked so cute in the birthday hats!

How many dogs can your kennel hold? Is it run out of your home, or do you have a separate kennel building?
