Wow, that's really a bummer! Not that Murphy isn't cool (and definitely bigfoot-like), but really the trip couldn't have been too much fun without you! I think you need to tell Your Vickie "Booooooo" and then give her a slobbery raspberry! That'll get her attention!

Oh Bert, I'm so sorry. Your Vickie is very busy helping lotsa dogs. I bet that she'll find a little bit of time for fun soon.
BTW, I had my eyes peeled for that white columbine all summer long. I finally spotted it near Leadville, up a gulch called "Peekaboo Gulch". The columbine sat about 20 yards up a talus slope, and I was wearing cycling shoes (not good for walking). But, for you and Vickie, I crawled my way up the slope for a photo! I'm so glad that it turned out OK...
Oh Bert...I am so sorry. Murphy does look like a Yeti. Maybe you can get out over the weekend and have some fun!
