Crime Stoppers

Hey Sarge,  Sir,  I was just wantin to put in an application to be one of your officers....I mean, don't ya need a back up now and again.

I have experience you know.  Like today, My Vickie and I stopped some theives that was trying to break into a business next door.  Well we didn't stop them, we just seen them and they looked suspisious so we called 911 and sure enough, They were criminals......

So I know you must be super busy with all the official Police Chiefin stuff.  I was just figurin I could help you out in the field.   Like For Instance:

I could monitor the two legged childrens playgrounds to make sure they are safe enough for our presious small humans.
I could break up any of those roudy bar fights that go on in the underside of blogville.....
Patrol the beaches to make sure none of us step on their presious sand and  direct us fourlegged critters to the doggy beaches......(Not happy about this one)
I already have a few snitches that we can use to gather information... know, regarding doggy and human mis-behaviors.
Keep a check on any bullies that want to take away everyones toys and chews.
Check for drugs and chocolate in the vehicles that are passing by and to make sure that everyone is legal.....
Be sure that our roads and trails are safe ALL YEAR ROUND.

AND take care of all the little children, cause that is what I do best.

So SARGE, what do you think.  Can I be your deputy?

I pledge to be loyal and true to the Police service in Blogville

I pledge to uphold the law, to protect life and property, to prevent and detect crime.

I pledge to discharge my responsibilities without fear or favour, regardless of race, language religion., or breed.

I pledge to strive for excellence, to be proactive and to exercise initiative in my duties.

I pledge to serve our community and our country and to be courteous and humane in my dealings with every K-9 or Feline.

I await your answer and am hopeful for an interview time.

Bert, I just had a discussion with Sarge,CoP. We are both in agreement that due to the increse in Blogville PUPulation we are fur sure in need of an additional deputy. I have reviewed your qualifications and found them meeting our needs perfectly. Sarge tells me that you have the right personality and that you and he would be able to work well together. Zona is very much easy to work with also. I can certainly understand your NEW need fur gainful employment... what with your just becoming PINNED an all. Wimmen can be kinda Costly.. butt well worth the expense... BUTT... I digress...
Bert, I would like to extend the offer to become Blogville's Newest Deputy. Congratulations, Dawg.

They could not have found a better candidate -- although Allred tells me you don't always stand up for the felines -- but what does that hairball know! I've seen you in action taking sharp (and sometimes not-so-sharp) sticks away from other dogs so they wouldn't lose an eye. You are the best and Frankie Furter made a great selection in choosing you. With a new woman and new job in your life, I just hope you still have time to play with your best bud!

To start, a BIG KUDO to you and Your Vickie for not being afraid to get involved and called the police when you saw something happening at the business next door! I'm sure the owners really appreciate that!!!

But can I tell you how much I love this post and your idea to be a Crime Stopper?? You'd do a wonderful job, and could certainly convince people to be kind to others and obey the rules--Just as all Goldens do!! :-))

You are the perfect candidate for the job Bert. Wow, that photo of you jumping on the snowbank is very very impressive!

The one of you and the little girl is heart-melting. You are both a tough crime fighter and a softie, all wrapped up into one.
