Haphazard Happenings

We need to start by apologizing to all our friends because we haven't had much time to comment on your blogs,  but My Vickie says we will be catching up this weekend......We hope.

So here are a few Haphazard pictures from the week plus a huge plug for the Blogville Olympics.
I am sponsoring the Pole Jumping event and I just wanted you all to "Get Your Practice On"    More info to come around the end of the month.

Lots of fun friends at the Kennel this week, like Pepsi who was the chorus leader in "It is time to eat, Vickie"    A beautiful song that always brings rewards.
Here we have two young Golden Doodles exercising in one of the play areas.
Nola the Dane thinks that Puppy Barley is a stool and sits on his head.
Barley tries to take her off at the knees
It is all in play.  What  a fun day.
Check this out.  Have you heard that pennies in a clear bag filled with water will keep the flies away.   This is even better and prettier.  The copper color spins and the crystal sends beautiful reflections.  all of that combined has somehow caused all the flies, which are pretty bad this year, to go somewhere else.  We are almost fly free and that is good cause My Vickie really doesn't like flies very much.
We went back to our poppies mountain and it was so beautiful.
We met a friend and enjoyed a few minutes of natural communication.
Home again where poor Goose is waiting faithfully for his human, Michelle to get back from her trip.
 So sad,
Night everyone.  Long days and peaceful nights.

hey Bert,

Poor Goose! He really misses his mom! I hope she gets home soon. What a sweetie!

Nola is hilarious! Sitting on the little pup Barley. Too funny! Pepsi is so pretty with such beautiful blue eyes. What a fun time at your place!

That is very cool about the flies and copper. We must try that.

Yay Olympics! Can't wait! I am practicing now.

OK I am a little sad. But you see for 12 years I have been the one to make sure my MOM is OK and so this is hard for me. But you know what I like it at your place. And that Nola is a hoot. Thanks for taking such good care of me Miss Vickie.
Blessings,
Goose
PS- where do you keep the hot dogs? I'm a little hungry now

You look a tad different, buddy! What's happening. The center is so pretty. I love it. Is it as big as it looks?

By the way, I didn't know that either... about the pennies and stuff. Does it work with mosquitoes as well?

Huggies and Cheese,

Haopee

Pure Goose! You look really sad!
I do the same thing with Nola! Mum say that I'm rude, but I don't care! It's more comfortable.

Slobbers to everyone

I agree with Nellie's mum. I feel the same way too. What would have made it better is some news of Allred ;p

I have been down the past few days and it's.reading blogs from animal lovers that help keep my spirit not too low. You have no idea how many times I check your blog in a day. I feel like I am a stalker, haha.

I need some dog and cat love :(

Poor Goose. He does look mighty sad. Our Mommy HATES flies and she is very interested in your "fly-pellent". Must it be copper? And what crystals are those?

Wonder if the penny trick will work on keeping mosquitos away. Guess it's worth a try.

Hey, Bert, where did Your Vickie get that cool copper hanger? We've been having a fly problem lately!

Tell poor Goose to cheer up. He looks so sad!

Genius idea with the pennies and ziploc bag. Your fly-stay-away is much prettier. Where did you find it?

Oh, please tell sweet Goose that his MOM will be home soon - and she's bringing him a treat. :)

Happy seeing beautiful!

Dear Bert, is your friend the Dane super skinny or is it just the picture? The field of poppies is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S! Have a great weekend and sleep tight. I'm going to, on my new big bed haha.

Woof to you Bert!!!! Looks like your friend Goose is throwing himself a bit of a pity party. Since I've thrown cute a few of them for myself, I empathize.

And I'm super psyched to learn more about your pole vaulting event.

Much love to you and your Vickie - XXOO - Mazzie

Awww! Poor Goose! Hang in there, buddy! Your MOM will be home soon! Grab him by the neck and throw him around a bit for me, would you, Bert? That's always fun. I think he needs cheered up.
We're so far behind in commenting that all we see are tails! Woo.
We never knew about the copper and crystal! That is a beautiful piece of art! Did your Vickie get that somewhere that my mom could order from on line? We're pretty sure the fly is the Kansas state bird. Really.
Beautiful poppies and deer!!! And we love the pix of your friends!
Luv,
Dave
