Allred Update

Before I even start, I just want to thank

everyone for all the good wishes and the

welcome homes that I have received

on my blog over the last few days. 

 

And Yes...I did say My Blog.

 

Since I have fought the great fight and have won.....

(I am still alive and back home) Bert's My Vickie has

said that I too may begin to have my own posts. 

As I have said, I have won the great fight for "Survival".

I am still pretty weak from the battle and

I have spent the last three days

sleeping in this chair and eating.

Vickie has read all of your

comments, and I must say that

I am touched.

I even received a

Welcome Home gift

from Goose which was very kind.

Of course he blew it

when I turned my face and

he gave me a raspberry.

My sweet Nellie came by

to give me some hugs

and kisses which were almost

worth every bit of pain

and hunger that I have

suffered in the last

30 days.

Unfortunately I have suffered

a few injuries from my battle

but Vickie is taking me to see

Dr. Doughty tomorrow.

 

I seem to be having a problem with

my right eye and my right leg.

 

I lost a lot of weight on my

journey, but we are taking care

of that with meals every three hours.

 

So I am off to eat again and take a nap

but before I go, I want to thank

my new friend Tank

for the lovely Christmas Tree.

 

Now that I am feeling better

I can appreciate the thoughtfulness

in this precious gift.

 

(Gosh, that almost sounds nice, but

don't fear, I am sure it is just the weakness)
