Heterogeneousity

There is a "See Beautiful" movement this month
that is very close to our hearts.
All those of you who enjoy taking pictures
should check in with them.
All you have to do is send them some of your
favorite pictures and some very special
humans will donate money for each
picture to help pay for a safe and
warm place for all of our fourlegged friends
who have the job of blessing the lives of the homeless.

I can't imagine what it would be like
to live the life some of my friends live
and so when humans make such
amazing efforts to help them out, well
my heart swells and I am brought
to doggy tears.

Bert.

And now for some heterogenerous moments of the week
Check out what eight weeks
can do for you.
Little Sophie could barely
make it up the stairs
when she first moved here
from Pennsylvania.
And now, nothing is
too tall for her.
She is growing fast.
Jimmy enjoys the last rays
of summer sunshine.
Scrappy sports his new haircut
Willa looks five pounds lighter
after her hair cut
My Vickie says I am
"Ball Obsessive"
Can't understand what she
means by that, but
I dare you to try and take
this away from me.
I am really strong.
Goofy friends like Rosco
O'Mally and the "Cool" James Dean
It has been a very rainy day
and what was once a
beautiful white Lilly
Is now a very dirty
muddy Lilly.
(My Vickie couldn't believe
that she found the ONE pile of
dirt in the whole kennel
and frolicked in it)
 New Friend, Luther, comes out
to see if it had stopped raining
Boy we have had  a lot of rain.
Dakota prefers to play in
the straw village
we build in the winter.
 Trip to Petsmart to watch
Miss Sophie in her
obedience class.
My Vickie let me
pick a toy or bone.
I left with nothing cause
I couldn't decide which I wanted.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME
I was probably still shook up
from having to wear blinking
Christmas Antlers at the Hospital
on Tuesday.

Pastor Michelle brought them
and because I love her, I let her put
then on me.  Funny thing is,
that all the patients loved me in them.

So, OK, if it makes you happy,
Yes, I'll wear them again next week.

Love
Bert

We can't believe how fast Sophie is growing!! Poor Bert but you have to humor Michelle cuz she does throw the ball for your ol' ball-obsessed self! BTW, we went to Petsmart right after you left. Tanya said we just missed you! Be sure to stop by tomorrow and you can see if our undercover work paid off!

Murphy & Stanley

Hahahhahaha you had to wear my antlers. BAWhhahaha. But I know you made all the people at the hospital smile. You are such a good dog Bert, a real pal. Guess what I got tonight? A BUCKET of jerky. I plan on sharing it with you. Least I could do for taking the antlers. Oh I am still laughing. And you ARE ball obsessed! But here is a hint, ball boy, loosen your grip once in a while and my MOM will throw it for you more often. See ya Saturday.
Blessings,
Goose

Well, we can see Lily isn't so lily white any more:) But we bet she had fun in the mud.

We like your blinking antlers a lot, much nicer than Thunder's with the silly red bows on them.

All the pups are looking great and very happy.

Have a great weekend.

If the antlers made the bipeds smile, it's worth it. I think. Not that I'd wear them.

Well, OK, if I thought I looked really cool, I would. Or for some Stinky Goodness Treats.
Great pix, Bert! There is beauty all around us!

We love the way you're holding that ball in your clutches, Bert. Molly loves to place her foot on hers - hard, so nobody can take it away.

Love ya lots,

Dear Bert,

Wow, how amazing to meet you! And Allred, and all your other friends too.

I read on the top of your blog that you are a SAR Dog. Wow, that is very cool. I have done some "sniffing" training with my person (and I LOVE finding people and their things!), but I never got the title of SAR Dog. That is so much work!

Both my person and I think that's really cool. And you're a PATS Dog too. (Is that what they call therapy dogs where you live too?) What amazing work you do for all sorts of people!!

We got your card today and we were excited to discover your blog. We're gonna follow you now. Not around the house, but on my person's computer.

Thanks so much for the pawesome card. Tell Allred that my person giggled at the red ball picture.

Licks,
Cobi
