Been gone too long. Must Talk, even though it is Wordless Wednesday

Hi Everyone.  I know it is wordless wednesday but I just have to talk.  It has been such and incredible week so far.  First I must appologize for My Vickie.....We have been running around so much we havn't had time to keep up on everyones blogs so.....Sorry.....

Now for ME.  Cause it is all about me....First on Monday we got our painting from Art by Elizabeth . http://artbyelizabeth.blogspot.com/2011/07/first-july-special-painting-bert.html  (this link will show you how it looks)  only it looks way cooler in person.

My Vickie is taking it in to be framed so we will show you a picture of it later on.  We also got a cool book called "A Dogs' Purpose" from Boondocks and his family.  http://www.theloveshackpack.com

WE just feel so lucky to have such cool friends.

And then.......

Wait for it..........

Wait for it.............

My Vickie took my CAMPING
It was so incredibly beautiful up in the mountains and we had such a great time, even though it was only overnight,  IT WAS GREAT.  and she let me swim till dark and even come in and get on the bed wet.  How cool is that.

Here are a few pictures of how beautiful it was up there.
Check out the Bee BUtt I mean Bottom  They were busy and I didn't want to disturb them so I played in another area while My Vickie took these pictures
It was so incredibly beautiful, that My Vickie called her mom and said....."Lets go for a ride tonight after work"  So they went back up the same day we got back and guess what they saw.......
Yep.... Three Bull Moose and a Cow.
Thsi guy was the biggest one and he was very kind to let My Vickie get so close to take a picture.  See it was getting late and the light wasn't real good so she had to go in closer for a picture.  Her mom was a bit worried.
And They saw some little bucks in the lush grass.  Getting the flower pictures was fun, but My Vickie goes nuts when she can get wildlife pictures....
So, no more talking, well a little at the end, but come and enjoy my world with me.
Cute little guy, isn't he.  But man they are fast.
All of our mountains were filled with the beautiful flowers.

So thanks for coming along with me, at least in pictures.  I sure wish I could take all of you camping with us.  Can you imagine how much fun we would have.

then.....Two final things.....

One is a BIG Thank You to the members and pastor of the First United Methodist Church cause they brought me and MY Vickie some fresh from the vine Sugar Snap Peas that you can be pretty sure, were never pee'd on.  Oh They are sooooooo good.

Second is a message for Mattie.....We look almost every day for words of wisdom from you but have not seen a post for two weeks.  We know that you and your mom are going thru a rough time and we want you to know that me, My Vickie and her mom are praying for you both.......Our hearts are very concerned.

So Thats it for Wordless Wednesday.....

Love you all
Bert

Very Wordy Wednesday!!

It sounds like you've been really busy having fun lately!

That camping trip looks fantastic. We never see anything even half as amazing where I live - the best you see is a rabbit or fox! Of course, none of those animals are as adorable as you, Bert!

Wow, where to begin... Furstly, I think you should has TWO paintings made coz they be so pawsome that your dogtor should has one and you should keep one. Then, your pikshures of the flowahs and wildlifes is OFUR THE TOP pawsome! And so appropriate coz I is going hiking on Peekamoose Mountain this week! I dussn't think there be any mooses there so I has to carry your pikshure in my brain. No camping fur me though - mom is a bad camper. She has to has her bed, electricities, running waters and fresh coffee and stuffs or she get furry cranky.

I have loved, loved, loved your pictures and post today!! On a day that I'm exhausted it's been nice to sit and look at them and relax and wish that I could have gone with you!

The scenery there is breathtaking. I can't believe the moose let you get that close. We have scads of whitetail deer all around us (in fact there's a cluster of does in the back yard now), but they are so skittish.

Glad you got to go camping!

Hi Bert, I just love your photos. They are beautiful. How close can you get to the moose. Are they mild or can they get angry if you are too close to their ladies. Thanks for taking me photo camping. No worries, and love, Stella

Wow, wow, wow. The moose is amazing. I am so glad that your Vickie is okay after going so close. Those big oafs can get real ornery.

The flowers are spectacular. The Jacob's Ladder is breath-taking. And, the Penstamaon with the bee butt is amazing!

And, you, Bert, in the wildflowers top it all off.

You made me laugh at the end with your comment about "that's it for Wordless Wednesday"!

After your story about the snap peas, I've been hesitating before munching on the berries in the forest...
