At Least She Is Taking Care Of Business

Well, we are not completely out of the woods from this week of bone crushing adventures, but My Vickie did pull it together enought to take care of all our responsibilities Like:

I get to go once a week to the VA Home to visit with my special friends who are living there.  This time one of my friends had popcorn and we sat and ate the treat for 20 minutes before My Vickie said I had had enough.

Later that day, I was pretty gassy......I wonder if that is what she meant when she said that.
Next we rushed over to see some kids at the Park.  The camp host is a nice lady who lets me give her a big hug everytime I come.  She is the one from the park service that lets me swim in the lake any time I want.

But today I didn't get to swim cause My Vickie didn't want to take me to the dog bath again before we visit the hospital tomorrow.
There was a ton of kids there and after the demonstration, I got tons of loving.  My friend Annie came too.  She was excited to see me, but she is a little hurt.
I don't think I handled things well....you know, Annie and Rosebud......Annies human sent My Vickie the picture below.  She said when Annie found out that I was seeing Rosebud and taking her to the prom, well, she just crawled up and slipped next to her man human was all depressed.
I sure didn't want to hurt her feelings at all, but a guys gotta go with his heart....  We are going to meet on Saturday and talk.  I think she will be ok, cause last time we were at the park, she was sorta flirtin with Murhpy.  I guess girls can be as fickle as us boys.
So in hopes of making Annie feel better, I asked my Vickie to find this picture of Betty sitting on me.    I hope this makes you laugh Annie....

See ya all soon.

So glad to be back
Bert

Wow, that's so cool you help cheer up our vets! Mom used to do that too and says it's really a great thing to do. You sure make those kids happy and you also double as a doggy floor cushion! Who knew? BWAR HAR HAR

Haha Bert,

You sure made me laugh, even if you didn't make Annie chuckle!!

Sounds like you had a great day - I had no idea you can get popcorn when you go on these visits!! I'm gonna ask Mum to get a move on with my training!

As for the girls, I feel for you Bert! I too have lots of girlfriends, sometimes they just fling themselves at me, you'll just have to tell Annie it's not your fault you're so handsome! Tee Hee

Good luck buddy,

Your pal Snoopy :)

So after taking care of that giant plumbing problem and running the Canine Country Club you and Your Vickie still visited vets and kids and you still have time to consider Annie's feelings. WOW. Bert! You and Your Vickie have super powers!! Somehow we see a small overnight camping trip on the horizon for you two :-)

Hey, what's up with that Navy guy? He didn't look too interested in hugging you or anything. Didn't even smile for the camera. What's the deal? Was he that much of a stiff in person?

You and your Vickie are such good citizens with all your good works. Thanks.

I was worried about Annie. I hope that your "talk" goes well and that she cheers up.

Our roommate likes to share his popcorn with Murphy. He always starts out with good intentions, but then Murphy starts using his magical puppy dog eyes and pretty soon he is getting every other piece!

You've had a busy schedule, Bert! Sometimes that helps humans to feel better, when they stay busy. We love visiting the nursing homes here, too! They're always so nice to us.
