Are we Still Here

If the world hasn't ended
I thought I would update you on
Allreds Health report
and a little bit about
ME.

If it has ended, well then,
don't worry about reading this.
 My Vickie took Mr. Allred
to see Dr. Doughty today.
As you know, he has been missing
for a month or so and after he came home
we started noticing a few "Issues"
After x-rays and a pretty thorough exam
Dr. Doughty found a big cut in Allreds right eye
and a injury to his elbow.  Both should
heal in time with a lot of rest and
some major lovin.  Sure wish
Allred would tell us what happened
but he is pretty tight-lipped about it.
I got to open My Christmas Present FINALLY
sent me two, yes I said TWO
really cool bandannas with My Name
embroidered on them in gold.
I got to wear the blue one
one at the hospital this week
Everyone was very impressed with my good looks
and how well blue goes with my coat.
Of course My Vickie HAD to add a
red and white Santa Collar with bells on it
but I didn't mind at all cause the
bandanna looks so so good.
I also got this really cool pouch
for My Vickie to carry with us
at the hospital and it is filled
with treats.
My friends at Dachsies with Moxie
hand made it for me and it is really cool.
Aren't we just the luckiest dogs and kitty's
in the whole world because of
the friendships we share in blogville?
Finally I leave you with this picture of
me and Gooses mom Pastor Michelle.
She invited me to come to St. Anne's
shelter today to play with the children while
their parents wrapped Christmas Gifts.
I was so excited to go.
It didn't turn out exactly as I had planned.
I figured I would just be sittin there
with lots of kids pettin me and
telling me how beautiful I was.
I even wore the other bandanna from Jack
to impress them with my handsomeness.

Well, there was some lovin, and some pettin
but mostly THIS is what I did all the time
we were there.
(check out the very short 20 second video below)

I am so exhausted.
Love
Bert

I hope Allred keeps recovering. Even though he scares me.

It looks like you will be one tired pup tonight! Mom always takes my leash off when I go to visit the little humans because they always want to grab it. You are one tolerant guy!

That is good news on Allred...in that he just needs time and lovin to feel better. Your visit to the shelter gave you a whole weeks of exercise in one day...but it looks like you had lots of fun.

Bert,

Your video is SO cute!!

I'm also super happy that Allred will be able to get well soon after loadsa loving - I know he'll get that from you and your Vickie! :)

Just a thought, I have a thing on my collar from tagg.com which alerts Mum if I go out of the zone and she can track me via the gps - the battery can last up to a month, not sure if they do them for cats, but it would possibly be useful for Allred if he ventures off again?

Big wags 'n' hugs to all,

Your pal Snoopy :)

I love your bandanna, it really does go well with your furs!

Looks like you had a lot of fun running around with that little boy. I bet you really are exhausted! With all that exercise, you need a few extra treats to make up for all the calories you burned off. bol
