A week without ME

Allred came home, he tried for a day or two to be nice.  He was even nice to me.  But slowly, slowly but surely, the Devil started coming out of him.   He did want me to let Jed and Abby know that he has been grounded by the great spirit and is not able to teleport himself to other locations.  So the rest of you are safe.  I am not sure for how long, but rest easily for awhile.  In the mean time, he has already drawn the blood of Pastor Michelle.  My Vickie is being very cautious.
Dougal is here for a week, only I don't get to play with him.  He is having fun without me though.
Good Ending Story:
This is Lucy.  She was rescued from one of the puppy mills by a lovely woman who is bringing her on our walks now.  She is about 4 years old and most likely has spent those years in a small cage with her only company being her puppies.

She is so loving and so kind to all of us dogs.  She is so happy to be free that she runs and jumps with joy.  Every movement she takes is on of freedom well earned.

We are so happy to have her come play with us, and so great ful that she was one of the lucky ones.
It was a fun group this Saturday, or so I hear.  My Vickie went along because she needs the exercises even if I don't get to come.  Boy I miss being with her.
Everyone asks us how we get the pictures of all of us sitting and posing.  Well, sometimes it goes like this.  WE get up one at a time.  and then just about the time they are ready to take out pictures:    We All
JUMP off.  It takes about five minutes to make it work.  We know exactly what they want but we enjoy making it hard for them.

so here is a short video of the month of February.....Hope you Like John Denver......

Bert Buddy -- I just want you to know that hearing your constant complaining is music to my ears. Good to know you are feeling better and whining to get back to the dog fun. I cannot lie, walkees are always fun, no matter what, but they are more fun when my best buddy is there leading the pack (I like the way you make your Vickie think she is leading the pack!) We're saving a place for you -- You can count on it!!

Great photos Bert! I can't believe Allred drew blood from Goose's mom. Seriously, she's so sweet. Allred must be REALLY evil!

Hi there, So sorry you had to stay home while Ms.Vickie was out with the dogs. We are having some nice weather, for a couple of days, and saw lots of dogs at the dog park when we rode by on our bike. Hope you are back in action soon.

Oh no. He drew blood on Goose's MOM!?!? I know Zim says Allred's OK, but (shudder) he kinda scares me!
That Lucy sure is beautiful! I'm so glad she has a good home now!

Fantastic group shot again!

You know I'm not a fan of c.a.t.s but Allred might convert me. As long as he's not near enough to chew off my ear, he's a very entertaining and characterful (is there even such a word?) c.a.t.

Lucy has such a sweet face. I'm so glad she's got a chance to run and play now.

Have a great week! x You too Bert!

As I sit here and write this, our foster boy Lucas is watching our cat--Why do I have a feeling that If it was Allred, the urge to stalk our cat CC would have been ended long ago!!

I"m glad Bert is feeling better--Something is going on with our internet connection today and I'm not able to watch videos, so I'll have to try again at work, I'll bet it's better than what I'm watching on TV! :-) Enjoy your day!!

We are still shocked that your Mom would go off and play without you. The nerve! Don't worry - the snow isn't as much fun as it looks... Besides there are probably some good things on teevee - do you like Law and Order? ;-) Keep healing, Bert, and you'll be back with your pack in No Time!

Oh my, those lyrics with the images of so many lovable dogs made me cry. I think that song might be the theme for my life right now.

I'm so glad that Bert's gonna live, and he's going to play again!

I just love that photo compilation, Bert.

Your speedy recovery is of our utmost concern and in no time, you'll be doing walkies, jumpies and even rollies!

Allred really looks scary. Is he really that mean?

Hope you're continuing to heal, Bert. Don't rush it and rip open your wound; they make you start all over from scratch if you do that. And we're most happy for Lucy; she looks like a real sweetie.

Perhaps Allred's clawing of Pastor Michelle was part of the necessary blood sacrifice for his final redemption. For now, we'll wait and watch - with riveted attention - to see how Allred progresses.
