Bert, I would like to think that they are just giving you loveys and trying to comfort you. On the other hand you do look so soft and comfy, can I come over??
My beloved Bert! I do envy those boxers a little bit because they are beside you - and Annie too. But I think I'll ask Nellie for help - you look bored with all those "nurses" and I want so have you happy and satisfied! Be patient my darling - soon you are able to play with Goose and your friends outside - than everything will be better. I'm always thinking of you! Love Charlotte
Silly boxers. Bert, so glad you are feeling better. I have been very worried. Zipper surgery is not a fun thing to go through. Lots of Zippy's (Crazy Bull Terrier) friends have had that..so glad to see you healing and having fun.
I hope there was some tricky photo stuff going on. I'm almost positive dogs REALLY sitting on you like that might delay your healing and I know your Vickie would not allow that.
Just stopping by to check up on you. You must be getting betters to have them boxers all over you. I'm with Puddles, would you let a ligttle wire haired doxie get comfy with Ya?
I dunno' Bert. My mom is laughing out loud out the photos, but I'm thinking you and Rodney Dangerfield have something in common, "you don't get no respect" -- at least not from the Boxers. I respect you. You need to get back on your feet buddy, before they name a mattress after you!! Murphy
HI Bert! I'm a new follower. I'm glad the vet person was able to get the tennis ball out of your insides and that you have lots of pals around to keep you warm while you recover! I hope you are back to tip top shape soon!

Bert, I think you might need to enlist Allred to do something about this. It can't be good for your healing process.

Hey Bert - make sure you check out my post tomorrow. I think you will like it!
Your pal, Pip
P.S.: Very cute photos!
They must be jealous of that comfy lounging spot you have there:)

It is because you are all soft and fluffy, Bert! Amp likes to use me as a mattress, but I don't have long fluffy fur like you do!

Bert, you must look like a fluffy gold cushion that's why =)
Poor Bert! Feel better soon! We want to see you out and about!
Lets see .... your soft, fluffy, comfy, and a super nice guy. Heck I'd use you like a cushion if you'd let me.
Blessings,
Goose
LOL, Bert. You're so mean. Some of these guys were framed. The picture is evil!
Hope you get better soon! At least you'll no longer be a mattress... perhaps a pillow this time.

Golly. Are they trying to keep your shaved belly warm?
Poor Bert, you have been on the couch so long they think you are a pillow. Take care buddy. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

your friend who's starting to get worried, Georgia x
Well, I've come to the conclusion that those boxers must think they are protecting you Bert! LOL! What great pics!
Maybe you are super comfy cozy? Funny pictures!

They must miss playing with you Bert.
You must of been a chair in another life, Bert. You know...us pups can sense stuffs like dis!
The more correct question might be "Why wouldn't they"? When you're sweet and cuddly it just happens.
I think they are part of Miss Vickie's secret service to protect you!!
Hey Bert,
You must be super comfy buddy!! Funny pics :)
I'd start charging them rent - Tee Hee
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Bert, you are just WAY too good-natured!
Play bows,

It's because boxers are natural nurses, so they're trying to help you feel better!

So you are sayin that you prefer BRIEFS to Boxers???
Well, at least they're not sitting on your head???? Good luck getting them off of there.
xoxo,
Nora
Oh Bert, you do look a little bit less than impressed there, maybe there is some Boxer revolution going on we don't know about.....yet, BOL!
Hope your feeling better soon mate!

Bert, those photos are TOO funny. You must look soft to them.
I gotta ask - is it good for your tummy to have multiple boxers sitting on you at one time? Maybe you should try a little growl to get them off!
