For The Moose Fans

I am turning my blog over to My Vickie today.  Hope you enjoy.
Bert

Couldn't help putting in these two links to our trip up to check on our moose this week. Both videos were take by my friend John Hemenway who is a wildlife photographer.
This first one is a bit long but well worth it.  Five bull moose in all.  It was so incredible.  The two that are playfully sparing are brothers who hang out together.  Check out the antlers as they come near the eye.  Thank goodness the velvet is still on.

This one is very short but it is playful and cute to watch as the little one bounces through the forest and tries to engage a deer to play with it.  This little one thought I was a playmate and darted right to me.  When I realized what it was doing and that momma was so close, I had to firmly tell her "No, go away little one"
Yes, I do have a bit of sense.  Not much....but a bit.

Thanks Bert for letting me take over for a bit.  As a reward, how about I take you swimmin?

Hey My Vickie ^^

Moose? What's the plural of Moose? Mise? Mooses... I saw three of them in the video. And they were kissing each other... maybe because of love ^^.

Wow, Burt and your Vickie, my Mommy loves Moosesses. She even has a human stuffie that we can't play with, not fun, in the shape of a moose. When she was a puppy, her grandfather brought it to her from Glacier national park. His name is Muckie Moose. We don't touch it, because it is Muckie Moose.

Does Allred have any favorite toys?

Wow, how neat that you guys get to see this in the wild. Mom must admit she would probably be a bit scared to see this in real life but sure does enjoy all the videos and pics you post about the Moose. :)

Shiloh'n Shasta here - that baby moose just mite make a good playmate an'that deer duz the same thing Shasta duz kinda when she iz chasin'a critter - at a flat out run then startz hoppin'kinda when she slowz down.
