The Little Joys In Life

I was thinking today of all the things that bring a smile to my face each and every day.  There just isn't enough time or space to list all that makes me smile, so here are three things on my list I thought I would share.

Of course, My Lovely Charlotte.  Now Who could look at this lovely creature that graces the earth, without smiling..... Certainly not me.
Then there is Lilly, the newest member of our little family at Canine Country Club.
A little standard poodle who has moved in over the weekend with Gus and his peeps.  We will for sure be seeing a lot more of her and her puppy antics in the future.
And finally of course, the great and upcoming chance for all of us to shine.  The Blogville Olympics.  The category that I am sponsoring is "Pole Jumping"
Now I know it says "Pole" but a pole... by definition is:

  1. North or South Pole: either of the two points on the Earth, the North and South Poles, that are the endpoints of its axis of rotation, are farthest from the equator, and are surrounded by icecaps
  2. endpoint of sphere axis: either of the two endpoints of the axis of rotation of a sphere, planet, or other astronomical object
  3. either of two opposites: either of two completely opposed or contrasted positions, states, or views
So just about jumping over anything counts as a pole.   So lets get those jumping entries ready cause we are accepting them from July 9th thru midnight July 18th.

Get out there and "Jump for Joy"
remember to send your entries to   jamiesyra(@)msn(dot)com.

Hi Bert, Great post and I think Lilly is adorable! Today Hunter was playing with his cous, Lily-a bichonpo, and they were running. I should have had the camera for cross country/track & field. Thanks again for sharing the info on the olympics.

I thought for sure I would make your smile list. :) Lily looks very sweet. I mean if I were to make a smile list you would be on it. :) I bet I will be seeing a lot of Lily too at daycare. Guess I will work harder to make you smile. Hope you have stayed cool today. Not that being on a list is everything. :)
Blessings,
Goose

Charlotte is beautiful as always and Lilley is also very pretty. I am still working on pole jumping, I am not much of a jumper, but I will work on it.

Well, you know how I feel about Charlotte, my dear Bert. I'm sure she's a lovely girl ;)

That's a really nice saying. The Typist won't be doing much jumping now though, for joy or otherwise. Tra la la.

Charlotte and Lily are both just adorable They remind us of our Poodle Sprint who lived to be 18 yrs old. Poles sound very interesting. I will see what I can do.

Hi Bert! Thanks for stopping by our blog. We love pups who appreciate what is important in life and are grateful for their blessings. We hope that you will come back and visit us again soon.

My sister, Nuka is a jumper but she is more like an exploding spring shooting out over space and then belly flopping. Really makes momma nervous since Nuka is 12.
