40 foot Photo Challenge

Cant remember who, but someone in blogville put out a challenge a while back that went like this.

Grab your camera

Go somewhere fun

Take a picture of something every 40 feet.

And to top it all off....I got to go swimming....yes, it is cold but come on.....water....what can I say.

Wow Bert your nose does look big in the first pic. And in the last one your eyes look frozen shut but the snoot looks normal size. Cold river water must shink the sniffer.
The pics in between are wonderful. MOM wishes she could take shots like that.
Blessings,
Goose

oh Bert - what are you doing in this cold water! I'm freezing just when I look at these pictures! I'm fine in mum's bed, I've eaten (finally - because a tiny girl like me gets rawboned very soon - and you wouldn't prefer this!)and now I wish you were here - we could dream together and you could tell me about the wonderful landscape from the fotos!

PS: Please don't misunderstand yesterday's (Tues) post -- I like squirrels, too! I love to just sit quietly and watch them. I like everyone, no matter the species! Well... some bipeds I'm not too sure about ... but that goes back to my pre-adoption days. I just shy away from some people until I figure them out.

You sure you don't have a wet suit under your furs? BOL

Happy Turkey Eatin Day!

OMD Bert, do not let mom know about that challenge. I tells you why. She takes anywhere from 300-500 pikshures on a 10 mile hike. I has to stop and wait on her each time. Effury 40 feets would be 1,320 pikshures! We would be stuck in the woods so long it would get dark and you would has to come out of retirement and do search and rescue to come get us!

Bert, you look totally blissed-out in that picture!!
